I think the most shocked I’ve been in any game was the time I first met “Dr. Salvador” in Resident Evil 4. I walk out of this shack, and some guy starts walking towards me with a chainsaw, turning it on. I thought it would be easy enough to take him down, but shot after shot seemed ineffective. All of a sudden the maniac was tearing into me, as the worlds Game Over appeared on the screen. I think it’s one of the few times where a game as actually made me say “what the fuck?” out loud.
